‘Thakkath’ 50

Running to packed houses for 25 days in 58 of the 60 theatres the macho hero of Kannada cinema actor Vijay and Shuba Punja starring ‘Thakkath’ by 24 Frames Production has completed 50 days in 15 centers and it is a time for celebration says director of diligence MS Ramesh.

The film ‘Thakkath’ an action packed sentiment film is sure to complete 100 days in at least 10 centers hopes director Ramesh who is also known for high quality dialogues writing in Kannada cinema.

At the Patel Inn in RT Nagar, Bangalore Crazy star V Ravichandran, producer Rockline Venkatesh handed over the trophies of ‘Thakkath’ 50 to artists and technicians.

On this happy occasion one of the producers of ‘Thakkath’ Rajasekhar Naidu and director Ramesh disclosed that the collections made by ‘Thakkath’ in the last fifty days it has covered the earlier losses of ‘24 Frames Productions’ ‘Beladingalaagi Baa’ earned the ‘Thakkath’ film investment and it has also set a reserve fund for the next film from the same banner.

Actor Vijay giving a series of success and recently receiving the 105 days run of ‘Chanda’ to his house from reputed director S Narayan feels it is like waiting for the marks card for every film after completion. The marks card given by the audience is very important he says. Director of ‘Thakkath’ MS Ramesh has signed another film starring Vijay for producer K Manju. It will be either ‘Kala Bhairva’ or ‘Ashwaththamma’.

The biggest botheration to ‘Thakkath’ is the piracy says producer Naidu. He with Ramesh and others rounded off six persons but the same evening they were left out by the police he recalls.
